
Beef Kefta with Coriander

INGREDIENTS
• 1 kg groundbeef
• 3 medium white onions
• 2 tablespoons fine breadcrumbs
• 2 teaspoonsground cumin
• 1/2 teaspoongroundcinnamon
• 2 teaspoonsground paprika
• 3 teaspoonschoppedcoriander
• 2 tablespoons olive oil
• Salt and pepper
• 6 sprigs of freshcoriander
Instructions
1. Place the onions in a bowl of ice water to reduce their sharpness and make them more digestible.
2. Put the ground beef in a large bowl.
3. Add the breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, and spices.
4. Sprinklewithchoppedcoriander.
5. Peel and finely chop the white onions, then add them to the meat.
6. Mix everything well, then shape into small balls as desired.
7. Heat the oil in a large non-stick pan and add the meatballs.
8. Cook them gently, turning for 2–3 minutes; they should remain pink in the center.
9. Serve immediately, sprinkled with fresh coriander.
